Publication Rules

These rules define what content may not be placed in Mate paths, covers and messages. Violations lead to account deactivation and then deletion. They extend the Terms of Use.
Sexual content
Pornography, intimate services and sexually explicit material are prohibited. Any sexual content involving minors is never allowed and is blocked immediately and reported to law enforcement.
Violence and threats
Depictions of cruelty, threats, calls to violence, and promotion of terrorism or extremism are prohibited.
Illegal business
Selling drugs, weapons, counterfeit, stolen or smuggled goods, and any illegal financial schemes are prohibited.
Fraud and deception
Scams, phishing, fake offers, pyramid schemes and misleading promises are prohibited.
Hate and discrimination
Attacks and incitement to hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, orientation, age or disability are prohibited.
Harassment and bullying
Stalking, bullying, threats against specific people and publishing others’ personal data without consent are prohibited.
Malware and hacking
Distributing malware, hacking tools and services for unauthorized access to other systems are prohibited.
Privacy and third-party rights
Publishing personal data without consent and infringing others’ rights, including piracy, trademarks and copyrighted material, are prohibited.
Enforcement and reports
On violation the account is deactivated and login is blocked. If it is not reinstated by the administration within 30 days, the account and all related data and cover images are permanently deleted from the servers. Report violations to the contact address in the site footer.
