These terms govern the use of the Mate service. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
Acceptance of terms
By using Mate, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are authorized to enter into agreements on your own behalf or on behalf of the company you represent.
Service description
Mate is a customer journey builder: you create sequences of questions that bring a visitor into a chat with your business. We may develop and change the service's functionality.
Account
You are responsible for keeping your account access secure and for actions taken under it. Provide accurate information and do not share access with third parties.
Plans and payment
There is a free plan and paid subscriptions. Payment and billing are processed through Paddle acting as reseller (Merchant of Record); tax is calculated and displayed at checkout. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled.
Subscription Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time — in your profile settings or through Paddle. After cancellation, automatic renewal stops, and access to the paid plan is retained until the end of the period already paid for; the account then automatically switches to the free plan. Paid periods are non-refundable, except where expressly required by applicable law.
Acceptable use
You may not use Mate for illegal, misleading, or harmful content, spam, infringement of others' rights, or attempts to hack or overload the service.
Content and rights
The content you create remains yours. You grant us a limited right to store and display it in order to operate the service. Rights to the service itself and its code belong to Mate.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." We strive for uninterrupted operation but do not guarantee the absence of errors and are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access in case of a violation of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll give advance notice of significant changes. By continuing to use the service, you accept the updated version.
